Miley Henderson is an emerging singer-songwriter from a small town in East Texas who recently relocated to Nashville to study songwriting at Belmont University. The granddaughter of the late, legendary guitarist Bugs Henderson, Miley brings a dynamic vocal range and rare versatility for an 19-year-old artist, seamlessly blending country, folk-pop, alternative, and classic rock influences.
While she enjoys reimagining songs by artists she loves, Miley is equally passionate about writing and composing original music that reflects a perspective beyond her years. She attended the summer youth songwriting program at the Country Music Hall of Fame for three consecutive years, where she wrote, co-wrote, and performed alongside Grammy-winning artists, Nashville session musicians, and accomplished songwriters and mentors from across the country.
Miley was selected as a student performer for the Hall’s Troubadour event, where she opened for Jordan Davis after being chosen for her original song “Lavender Blue.” She has also performed at the iconic Bluebird Cafe and continues to play shows and festivals throughout the year. She records in studios across Texas and Tennessee and is constantly evolving as both a songwriter and performer and intends to grow every day.
